Today marks the conclusion of Thanksgiving Week 2014, my special 7-day series focusing on healthier Turkey Day recipe ideas. Many of the dishes were vegetarian with a focus on whole foods, but there were also a few non-vegetarian (yet still healthy) options.
I’m not the world’s greatest baker I suck at baking, I included a post on healthy Thanksgiving leftover ideas in lieu of dessert. I figure you’ll be noshing on pumpkin pie anyway :)

I included turkey on my menu, but if you’re looking for ideas for vegetarian main dishes, I’d recommend exploring Oh My Veggies for inspiration!
Round out the meal with cranberry sauce, gravy and whole wheat dinner rolls with butter. For drinks, red wine is always welcome (or a signature cocktail if you’re feeling extra festive) along with a generous pitcher of ice water.
